At Systarah Services, we offer a range of non-clinical organisational support services, project support and workshops tailored to inspire and nurture resilient, compassionate individuals, organisations and communities.  Every organisation is unique,  that's why we pride ourselves on providing flexible and tailored solutions to meet specific challenges and goals. 

SEWB Capacity Building Workshops

These workshops are evidence-informed and tailored around organisational or community needs. Priorities include supporting  Peer Workers and communities members interested in suicide prevention and mental health community-based  activities.

 

Social and Emotional Wellbeing Workshops include:

  • challenging stigma and encouraging cultural safety
  • critical thinking, and supporting risk assessments and other decision-making processes.

Community Development Projects

This service package is project based, and aimed at supporting community development initiatives.  Priorities include strengthening community partnerships, and evidence-informed cultural safety, mental health and suicide prevention initiatives.

 

Project support services include:

  • community development projects that challenge stigma, and foster SEWB and/or environmental sustainability.

Organisational Consultancy Services

We can work with you to identify and solve non-clinical organisational challenges related to new funded programs and services; or provide operational analysis and recommendations related to non-clinical workflows, procedures and resources.

 

Consultancy services include:

  • Management Consultancy: supporting the integration of new SEWB (non-clinical) and/or environmental programs into existing services.
  • Organisational Methods Analysis: analysis and continual improvement recommendations.

Administrative Support Services

The Administrative Support Services  provide a range of support for community groups and community service organisations. We can assist: whether you need documents updated; creative marketing content developed and distributed; or websites edited.

 

Administrative support services including: 

  • document development
  • funding applications
  • content creator
  • website editing (Wix, Wordpress & Webador)
  • social media editor

Systarah Services are based on the following values and behaviours:

  • Respect for the Australian research-based knowledge translation in guiding government-funded services related to Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) programs.
  • Gratitude for Government-funded mental health and suicide prevention programs and commissioned services.
  • Commitment to prioritise and promote evidence-informed services and training opportunities to highlight their credibility, and support their reach and viability.
  • Awareness that anti-stigma campaigns have resulted in an increase in community members being involved in public activities related to mental health and suicide prevention; and that at times this can be problematic.
  • Accepting there are resources available but hard to navigate for the layperson.
  • Mindful that in 2025, there are significant gaps in suicide prevention terminology and in social work academic studies, and no National Standards or Communities of Practice to adequately support decision-making and risk assessments related to public activities involving mental health and suicide prevention.
  • Acknowledging the need to support connecting community based services and community members to evidence-informed resources and research to inform risk assessments: especially when related to public activities.
  • Our aim is to work with the community groups and organisations to create safer, kinder and more reflective communities and work-spaces.
